A Microsoft® Windows 95/98/ME compatibility bug has been discovered in TNM Version 1.1. This error does not occur for Windows NT or Windows 2000 users. To avoid this error (after creating a new run and after calculating a run), close the run, then re-open it. All dialogs and tables will then open correctly. In older versions of DataVision (before 0.7.10), the Table Linker, Sort By, and Group By dialogs had to retrieve the list of all database tables and columns. Some users have reported errors in Cakewalk's StudioWare View when using certain types of videocards. Some TNM 1.1 users are experiencing problems computing contours. Use TNM Version 1.0b or TNM 2.0 (or later versions) to generate contours.

Some users are experiencing problems printing tables in TNM Version 1.1. It is currently unknown why only some users are experiencing this. As a workaround, the tables may be copied/pasted or exported to a spreadsheet program, such as Excel, and printed from there. This has been corrected in TNM Version 2.0 and later versions.

Calculations for Ldn and Lden have been modified in TNM Version 2.1 and above to incorporate accurate numbers of hours (Ldn: 15 hours day and 9 hours night; Lden: 12 hours day, 3 hours evening and 9 hours night). The calculations for Ldn and Lden in TNM Version 2.0 and all previous versions assumed the entered ADT value was split evenly between day and night for Ldn and day, evening, and night for Lden.

Any run created using older versions of TNM (e.g., Versions 1.0, 1.0a, 1.0b, and 1.1) can be opened in TNM 2.0 and above. TNM 2.0 (and above) will ask you if you would like a backup copy of the run automatically saved during the opening process. USB devices are handled by Core Audio on Mac computers; however, Apple's Core Audio implementation for Java on Intel-based Macs causes problems for Raven. You are probably using version 1.0 of the Installer utility. If you give it a larger memory partition, i.e. increase its preferred memory size in its Get Info box to about 1500K, it should run just fine.
