Yes! But it takes a little doing. The 2609 Clear View Kit is the one to consider. The grids are spaced 1.25in apart on the kit for 13in total height. The Miata has about a 10x29in rear window so at first blush the 2609 is to tall and does not meet the 40in minimum. Many owners have cut the heating element paper and side bus bars to allow closer spacing. The shorter length will make the grid run a little hotter.

Clear View (CV) defrosters can be used to replace severely damaged defrosters that are not repairable using Frost Fighter repair kits. While Clear View kits need to be installed using the kits bus bars and tabs the vehicles existing wiring and switches can be used in most cases. Please read the "Damage from window tint removal" question below for a full description of this problem and how to fix it.

Will the lines match up? It is not likely that the Clear View Defroster will match your existing vehicles defroster in spacing or layout.

No. You cannot just string the heating element material across the old grid lines, connect them to the existing defroster side bars. Clear View element material is much more conductive than the original so its would essentially be a dead short with high temperatures and blown fuses. Many of our customers do this with excellent results. You need to measure the height and width of the glass and determine which Clear View Kit will work with a pickup cap.

Only the thin (1/16") copper heating elements and the side bus bars adhere to the glass after installation. There is no plastic film or covering left on the glass. This insures the product lives up to its name - Clear View.

Tint is the bane of all defrosters as it sticks to both the glass and the defroster and if removed can pull off the conductive elements on the defroster damaging it sometimes irreparably. Unfortunately replacing an existing grid with the Clear View defroster can be problematic. It can be difficult or impossible to fully remove the existing defroster from your vehicle.

Be careful around the defroster tabs on the back window-they can snap off quite easily, and no, you can't fix them with super glue. It must be fixed with special glue that conducts electricity, and you don't have that in the junk drawer-trust me, I looked. Check with an auto parts store or glass shop. If you happen to whack the rear view mirror with your hand and pop it off of the glass, make sure you use rear-view mirror adhesive to fix it.

We have tested tinting over the Clear View kit. The Clear View heating elements are slightly higher off the glass than factory defrosters so the tint may not form a good tight seal along the sides of the heating element. We have had satisfactory results but not perfect. Another challenge is the kits bus bars are 1/4 inch above the glass when installed but the tint can be trimmed to fit these we have found in some vehicles without making it look odd.

Yes! We suggest that you use a little more care than just spraying cleaner and rubbing with a towel although. The technique is to spray the glass cleaner onto the cloth then rub the glass from side to side ALONG the grids not up and down ACROSS the grids.

No, you cannot use CORE-ASSURE as a replacement for CLEAR-VIEW needles. CORE-ASSURE has been designed for bone biopsy not for the percutaneous injection of bone cement. Please note that the Core-Assure accessory kits can be used with any 11 ga Clear-View bulls-eye needle which greatly helps to streamline the biopsy procedure.

Rear fill" refers to the presence of depth and ambiance in music. A properly designed system using two channels will reproduce original rear fill on the source without rear high frequency drivers. Since recordings are made in two channels, that is all you will need to reproduce it. What is captured at the recording session (coincident pair mics, Blumlein mic patterns, etc.) by a two channel mic array will capture the so called rear fill or ambiance.

this time we do not make a rear exhaust kit for any of our cars, however you can use our #A870 "can" type muffler to simulate a rear exhaust. This replaces the stock side exhaust on our Nitro car kits. The #A870 muffler comes stock on the Super Nitro RS4. With T-connectors and wide silicone tubing you can make a convincing dual rear exhaust!

In today's cars the defroster wires are embedded into the glass. A static cling or adhesive webdecal will not affect or be affected by this type of rear defroster. If your defroster wires were added to your rear window and were not factory installed then we suggest you do not put a WebDecal directly over them. Since these types of wires are generally applied on the inside of the window, you can safely apply a WebDecal on the outside of the window.

Yes. If your car has a roll cage the delete kit can be notched out to accommodate most roll bars. If the roll cage connects to the rear passenger floor area, the front half of the delete kit will not have to be modified. If the roll cage connects to the metal beam that the rear seat used to sit on, the front half of the kit will need to be notched out as well as the back.

You can choose in most cases. If you are concerned with originality then you should select the appropriate top. If cost is a factor the plastic windows are less expensive and also cost less to ship. Glass is considered maintenance free and should last as long as your top. Plastic will deteriorate and how long it will last is dependent on many factors such as where it is stored, how much sun it is in, weather, etc.

No. CLEAR-VIEW needles are not the same as the CORE-ASSURE biopsy needles. To enable the CLEAR-VIEW needle to work with the CORE-ASSURE kit, you must order the CORE-ASSURE accessory kit and the CLEAR-VIEW 11ga needle.

No. You can leave the doors open if you like. But since the air kit provides all the air the fire needs, you can also close the doors. You've increased your options.

First, adjust the antennas on the video receiver and the Lola transmitter so that they point towards each other. The side of the camera's antenna with the dot on it should face the side of the receiver's antenna marked with four squares. You can also try moving the video receiver itself to another location near the TV or stereo. Sometimes moving it just a foot can make a big difference.

If your putting a Clear View kit into a vehicle that had a defroster the rear window will have the original grids on the glass. Installing the Clear View kit requires that the glass be CLEAN so it is a good idea to remove the old grids. The vertical side bars can stay in place.

This is commonly referred to as the "clown nose". It houses a LED that flashes when the alarm is armed (IF you have the alarm installed). For cars without the premium package (which includes the auto-dimming rear view), it also functions as the dimming lever- Just twist it! Check to make sure that your gas cap is screwed on tight. If not, the SES light will be on for the next few days. First, it is NOT normal for your car to operate with a temperature in the 'red' zone.

No. Again, if the operator’s rear vision is obstructed and a mirror would help, then one should be used. Careful here, using the fact that operators become “lazy” with mirrors because they don’t turn around and look in the direction of travel when reversing is not a valid reason for not using mirrors. Properly trained and supervised operators should not do that anyway.
