If this is the case, we would suggest that you either use NTFS (through network or attaching the drive to a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 box if you are running Windows 9x/ME) or split your drive into regions each less than 4Gb, create their images and make virtual volume set afterwards if you need to recover files from there.
