Your file needs to be encoded by bringing the video clip (under 30 min.) on VHS, Mini DV tape, or DVD to MDS, Bldg 2, Rm. 9. No. You can only commune with other groovy Mac users. The i-Cam does not use an industry standard communications protocol, and is not compatible at this time. You will probably not be satisfied with the images or sound from one of the inexpensive USB "web cameras." These units require substantially more processing power from the host PC, do not include echo cancellation, and are generally not industry standard H.323 compatible. There also may be campus firewall issues with these cameras.

You are not required to tell Cal Poly about your intent to leave a bequest. However, it is helpful for the university’s planning purposes to be aware of future gifts. All Cal Poly majors are impacted. Cal Poly is an oversubscribed campus, and the term "impacted" means that more applications are received than there are spaces available. Please note, applicants are evaluated for admission through a point-based system that scores and ranks them against other students applying for the same major, applicants "compete" to be selected.

Cal Poly Plan funds have been, and will continue to be spent solely and exclusively on projects and initiatives that have a "direct, visible benefit to students," such as more classes, advanced lab equipment and faculty positions. All Cal Poly Plan projects must report in detail how the funds are being spent. Cal Poly Pomona is one of the few CSU’s with a state supported summer quarter. This means that the fees are essentially the same for the summer. Other CSU’s may charge more for the summer.

The hatchery currently employs eight professional staff. There are also two STEP interns and several volunteers. In addition, from February to April when the fish are being tagged and clipped prior to being stocked in the lakes, between seven and fifteen extra employees are on staff as fin clippers.

No undergraduate business degree is required. Further, there are no prerequisite business course requirements to enter the program. It is possible for a full-time student devoting 100% attention to his/her studies, and who follows a prescribed course of study to complete their MBA in less than a year (Track One - Accelerated Track). Relevant, current, challenging, and intellectually stimulating courses from top to bottom.

The EMP program is a cutting edge interdisciplinary dual degree program linking the Cal Poly MBA and MS in Engineering degree programs. It is a cooperative effort and program between the Orfalea College of Business (OCOB) and the Cal Poly College of Engineering (Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department). Successful participants will be awarded both an MBA and MS, both with an emphasis in Engineering Management.
