If you are professionally trained to work in a wellness, fitness, nutrition, stress reduction, sport, or healing arts fields, check the “I am a Professional” box when you sign up to join Wellsphere, or at any time by clicking Edit My Profile from your My Profile or My Wellsphere page. By checking this, you'll be identified as a ‘Pro’, and other Wellsphere members will see this status when reading your entries and reviews.

Wellsphere can be used by anyone anywhere. Wellsphere includes a local directory of Places and Pros that started in the San Francisco Bay Area and is quickly spreading to other cities including New York and Los Angeles. You can add Places or Pro listings for your city anytime. Wellsphere will be constantly searching for the best Places and Pro to help our members live better in more and more cities over the coming weeks and months.

Wellsphere respects and values your privacy. We use your personal info to help improve your experience on our site as we continue to grow. We ask for your email address and location so we can stay in touch with you, send messages to you from other members on the site, notify you of relevant activity (at your request) and keep you posted as new features are released. We will not sell, rent, trade or share your personal info with other parties. Your info is safe with us.

If you have concerns or problems with Wellsphere, simply send an email to wecare@wellsphere.com and tell us what’s going on. Your feedback is essential so that we can continue to improve the site.

To cancel your Wellsphere membership, please send an email to support@wellsphere.com with “Cancel Membership” in the subject line. Please be sure to write your request from the email address connected to your Wellsphere account so we can authenticate you. We will promptly send you a confirmation notice. Please include details about why you would like to cancel your membership.

To post your blog to Wellsphere, simply add your blog URL to your profile. You can copy and paste your relevant blog entries, or contact bloggers@wellsphere.com if you’re interested in our WellBloggers program.

To delete a friend from your network on Wellsphere go to the My Friends page in your My Wellsphere section. Click “Remove from My Friends” to remove a member from your friends network. A confirmation message will appear to be sure that you want to remove the member from your friends.

Compliments on Wellsphere are a way to give kudos, support, encouragement and feedback to other members, and to commend other Wellsphere members on a job well done. From congratulating someone on accomplishing a goal to thanking someone for writing a helpful article, let others know what you’re thinking and that you appreciate their efforts.

Setting goals on Wellsphere is a great way to stay focused, get advice and share your experiences with others who are on the same path. We make it easy to report your progress, connect with others who share your goals, and find relevant resources, advice and information to help you achieve your goal.

From the “Videos” page, click the “Add a video” link located in the Actions box. You can upload a video from your computer, digital camera or mobile phone, or add a video from other websites such as YouTube or MySpace. Follow the prompts to upload a video or embed a video code from another site.

All the videos on Wellsphere share the common theme of helping you improve your life in some way. They range from topics related to sports, exercise, relaxation, special events, cooking, interviews with athletes, doctors, celebrities, breaking news, etc.

Anywhere that you may go for wellness can be found in Wellsphere’s directory of places. This includes spas, gyms, studios, parks, clubs, sports facilities, healing centers and more.

To add a Place to the Wellsphere directory, from a Places page, click the “Add a place” button located in the Actions box, select the Places category it relates to, fill out the Add/Edit lising form, and submit it.

Pros on Wellsphere have a visual 'Pro' designation around their profile image to indicate their professional status and be easily identifiable. Professional members may or may not have a listing in the Wellsphere directory, however, we encourage adding a listing to help people find that Pro.

A wealth of events are posted on Wellsphere from marathons to sporting events, nature walks to bootcamps, dance parties to meditation retreats.

By knowing your zip code we can personalize the site for you, showing you members, Places and Pros near you. It also tells other members where you live so people looking for activity buddies can find you.

Yes! In fact, we hope you will share your opinions, insights and experiences with other Wellsphere members. Your reviews and writings not only help others get to know you, but also to know where to go and what to do to improve their well-being.

To reply to messages received from Wellsphere members, go to their profile by clicking on the member's link in the message. When on their profile page, click the Send a message link. Note: You cannot "Reply" to the emails, as they will not be received by the sender.

Right now, the Places directory includes information about Places in the San Francisco Bay Area, the New York tri-state area, and the Southern California area. We’re adding new listings everyday, and you can always feel free to add listings wherever you are to help expand the directory.

When viewing a Place in Wellsphere’s directory, click on the “Edit listing” link in the Actions box to change the details listed.
