You can add a student by means of the Student Data module that is accessible from your Home Page. Choose "View or maintain a student roster," select the group in which you want your student(s) added, click "View Roster," then click "Add Student." Detailed instructions are found in the Student Data Management section of your Users Guide under Add a New Student. This guide can be accessed by clicking on the Resources module on your program's Home Page.

Add this student (under "Import From Global Database") : s_yourWebCTID (for example if your WebCT ID is jsmith your student view account id will be s_jsmith)

This is done automatically. When students are in DELTA and registered for a module, they will automatically be given access to the site in UEL Plus.

If the EZ Pinger window is not visible, left-click the EZ Pinger icon in the system notification area near the clock. If this icon is not there, launch EZ Pinger under Start / Programs / EZ Pinger. Both the test taker ID and password are obtained by going through the On-line Test Taker Introduction, also found on the same web page mentioned above. Once you are into your Test Taker Home page, click the "make an appointment" icon and select the date and time you'd like to make an appointment for.

Once a student begins a test (i.e., after clicking "OK" to the query 'Click OK to begin Assessment. Click Cancel to return.'), there are only three valid actions a student may perform: The first valid action is 'answering' a question (selecting True/False, Multiple Choice, Fill-In-the-blank, etc.). The second valid action is 'saving' the answers (clicking the <SAVE> button after entering each answer).

There are several options we can suggest such as a friend's computer, your library or a career center such as Creekside Career Center in San Luis Obispo. These locations will have workstations you can use without any fee.  Another option would be internet cafes (usually a fee is applied). When you register on S.M.A.R.T., the system defaults to "Main Campus" courses, so the first thing to do is make sure that you have selected "Extended Studies" and the correct semester. To create a payee, click on "Bill Payment" in the menu panel on the left side of the Account Summary screen and select "Payee Management". Click "Add New Payee". Select the option to "View our payee list" or input the company name, account number with the payee and their zip code. If you do not have an account number with the payee check "This payee does not have an account number". Click "Continue". If the system recognizes the payee, the process is complete.

Yes. In order for a student to receive a score on any of the assessments, the student must complete both sessions of the test. If a student is absent, he or she should make up that time within the testing window. Once a school has indicated Testing Complete, testing is no longer available at the school. If testing must continue, the School Test Coordinator should contact Technical Support at 1-877-IC40-ECA (1-877-424-0322) and request that testing be re-opened.
