I assume you're talking about entries from different extensions (e.g. LiveHTTPHeaders). There are no icons for the entries, because the appropriate extension developer didn't add an icon for it. BTW, If you have problems in the javascript text box there is a workaround i noticed type it somewhere else and use copy-paste I absolutely don't know how, but I think it is possible to open the sidebar.
