Why did my Norton Diagnostics memory test fail after I installed more memory?

This is a limitation of the test and does not mean that you have faulty RAM. According to the Symantec Web site, "Norton Diagnostics cannot run a memory test on systems having more than 256 MB of memory. This is a limitation of Norton Diagnostics and it is not a problem with your computer's RAM."
