Child support is defined by law as the ongoing monetary expenditures and payments necessary to cover a child’s living and medical expenses. Both parents have a legal duty to provide financial support for their children. The court may order either or both parents to make ongoing payments to cover a child’s living and medical expenses.

For information on your child support payments, check under "payments on collections" on the Department of Workforce Development website. As an alternative, you may call the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund at 1-(800)- 991-5530 for payment information.

The Connecticut Child Support Enforcement Program (referred to as the "IV-D" program) is a cooperative effort between the Judicial and Executive Branches of Connecticut government. The primary Judicial Branch component of the IV-D program is the Support Enforcement Services Unit of the Court Operations Division.

The first step is to acknowledge that being a parent can be hard, and we all need a little help sometimes. If you are involved in behaviors that you don't want your children to do, such as smoking, consider getting support for yourself first. Talking about your parenting challenges with friends can also be very helpful. LifeWorks NW offers free parenting classes throughout Washington and Clatsop County.

The Child Support Guidelines are guidelines passed by the Ohio legislature which calculate child support orders based upon the financial circumstances of both parents. Use of these guidelines is required for the establishment or modification of all child support orders in Ohio. The amount of child support which is calculated using the worksheets and schedules contained in these guidelines is presumed under the law to be the correct amount of child support in each case.

Applications for service are available at the local child support agency in your county of residence. Applications are also available on-line. Child support is determined using guidelines established by California law. Child support guidelines are based on each parent’s monthly income and the amount of time the child is cared for by each parent. Every month in which a child support payment is made, a notice is mailed to you showing how much money the noncustodial parent paid. Each month, the first $50 of current child support is paid to you and will not reduce the amount of your CalWORKS benefit. The remainder goes to pay the county for benefits you receive. Yes.

Yes. If your child is in treatment, you have already exhibited the strength to seek solutions for your child. Our approach does not leave that solution solely in the hands of an out-of-home treatment program. Ideally, we begin before out-of-home treatment, continue through such treatment (if necessary), and provide post-treatment support. If your child is already in a treatment program, he or she will eventually come home.

If a child is diagnosed with a contagious disease, the child will require a statement from the doctor indicating that the disease is no longer communicable upon return to the program.

Children may bring breakfast from home if parents wish them to eat breakfast at the program. If your child attends a school where breakfast is served, your child may take part in the breakfast program.

EDS operates two full-day summer camps throughout the summer months at Eisenhower Elementary School and South Fayette Elementary School. Summer Camp is designed for students entering grades K through 7. All students have the opportunity to select from many summer course offerings including cooking classes, arts and crafts classes and a variety of sports classes.

Advanced Standing students are enrolled together in a non-credit integrative field seminar that meets more frequently in the fall and less so as the year progresses. In the seminar, you garner support via your classmates as well as from the director of the program, who facilitates this group experience. In addition, the director remains available to you throughout your experience for academic planning and support.

Yes. When there is a change in visitation or custody of the child, you can either go to court and ask for a change in the child support order, or you may ask the local child support agency to modify the court order. You may be able to reduce child support payments or begin receiving child support from the other parent. The amount of the child support order may be decreased if the other parent also must support children from another relationship.

The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) is an agency located within the Utah Department of Human Services . Within ORS, Child Support Services (CSS) is responsible for collecting child and medical support. Services include locating absent parents, establishing paternity, establishing and modifying child support orders, and enforcing child support and medical insurance obligations.

The majority of programs do not have an after-care or offer a re-admittance policy for troubled teens. Our program has a six-month after-care and a full two-year re-admittance policy. If your child falls in with bad friends, or resorts to their previous behavioral patterns, he/she may be readmitted into the program for a nominal outfitting fee.
