Double click MS Outlook and this message "The name could not be matched..." appears. Proceed to continue to enter your Win NT ID or name in the mailbox. Outlook will be launched after the system authenticates your ID. Please note that this setup is not permanent, that is, you will be required to repeat the setup for every login session.

MS Access is Microsoft's desktop database application. If you have purchased Microsoft's Access database application, you will be able to upload and use your Access database for free on your website as long as the server is a fully licensed MS NT/2000/2003 server.

Here are notes on setting up MS Outlook for email access under MS Windows 95 or 98. We will use, in this outline, an example user named John Smith with a mail account name of smith@rxn.com and a dialup PPP account name of Psmith. You will need to substitute your own account names. MS Outlook is a commercial email client from MicroSoft. In MS IE, select [View], then [Internet Options...], then select the [Programs] tab. Next to the Mail label, select MS Outlook. Click on the "Add" button and select the "Mail" option. Follow the wizard and set your name, e-mail address, and reply-to address. When it prompts you for the mail servers. Set the outgoing and incoming servers to your domain with mail in front (e.g., mail.abc.com for abc.com). Select POP3 for "Mail Server Type".Push the "Next" button. Set "POP account name" to your e-mail address with @ and . replaced by - (e.g., xyz@abc.com would become xyz-abc-com).

Windows 95 is shipped without an installation facility for ODBC drivers. You must obtain a special installation disk from ms. This file is also available from their BBS under the filename GE1263.exe. After you've extracted this file, you may use the following procedure to use your ms Access ODBC driver with STATISTICA functions. Select the setup command associated with the ODBC program you extracted by executing GE1263.exe. You may do this through Windows Explorer (95) or File Manager (3.1).

If exporting into Outlook, please ensure that its contact fields correspond to Artsystems contact fields. Note: Outlook requires that imported e-mail fields be named "E-mail". Open the txt file just exported in the Word Pad program that can be accessed through START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > WORDPAD. The first line of the txt file will contain the field names. Look for the field named "E-mail".

The 'Rules Wizard' dialog box will pop up. From the upper right hand side of the dialog box, select 'New' to create a new rule. You will be asked 'Which type of rule you do want to create?'. Select 'Check messages when they arrive'. Now click 'Next'. You will be asked 'Which condition(s) do you want to check? Scroll down in the upper window and check 'with specific words in the subject'. Then click on the underlined words 'specific words' in the lower window.

Open the MS-Outlook window. Go to start | all programs and select the MS-outlook icon or double click the outlook express icon on your desktop. Under server information, type pop.africaonline.com.gh as the incoming mail server and mail.africaonline.com.gh as the outgoing mail server.

This option gives advanced email users the ability to create an email rule in MS Outlook that recognizes the SpamShield Score to perform additional actions on the junk email. Note: MS Outlook Express for Windows does not support the ability to filter based on information in the email headers. Many users of MS Outlook want to be able to see the messages that are being flagged as Spam without having to log into WebMail.

In the “Create or Open Outlook Data File” box, navigate to your home directory (“H” Drive) and click Open. Then Click OK. The Personal folder just created will allow you to store e-mail on your “H” drive instead of the Mail server. Just drag and drop e-mail messages from other folders into the newly created Personal Folder.

All you need do is use the add-on teamSync. You can download it from our website and install it on to your workstation. From there, you just have to create a connection to the Calendar or Contact module you wish to synchronize.

Generally, the Outlook email client will preview attached photo/html files. To minimise the chances of opening a virus file, you are advised to disable the preview function in MS Outlook or Outlook Express. Some viruses are embedded in MSWord, MS Excel or MS Powerpoint files. They are called macro virus. You can do the following setting to prevent a macro from executing automatically:

Under some rare circumstances, while importing directly from MS Outlook/Outlook Express, cBizOne may fail. If that happens, export the contacts from MS Outlook/Outlook Express as Comma Separated (CSV) format. And then import the CSV file into cBizOne contacts.

Make sure you have configured your POP3 settings and SMTP settings to mail.yourdomainname.com. Also, to send mail, be sure you have checked login authorization required. More information is found from your CPanel in the Mail Icon.

Yes, you can open the database using MS Access, but it must be done by creating an ODBC Connection. It is very important that you do not change any records in the CW_Data file through MS Access. Any changes to the data should be done either through the CAREWare client, or by using the business tier programming interface. Use "Windows Authentication" (which uses your Windows ID and Password to Login). If this doesn't work, you may need to try "SQL Authentication". Click "Finish".

MLDownloader cannot store data directly in a database file. However, you can use or product Convert2DatabaseFile to convert the Metastock files to a database file.
