Well it is obviously illegal to bring the pirated CD's (specially if you have software on the CD's) but chance of you being caught are very remote i guess. No! There are no past papers available. Self-assessment questions are included in the ABPI syllabus/learning manual to enable candidates to evaluate their own progress. Anyone claiming to have a previous exam paper is incorrect! No, they do not! Training providers may produce their own versions of ABPI exam papers, and they may be very similar to the actual exam papers, but they are not ‘genuine’ past exam papers.

Ioften sign books at local bookstores, so if you live in the Metro-Northwest area of Oregon, you should be able to find signed stock around the time each latest book is released. I am often in the Sisters area near the Metolius and Mt. Jefferson, and around Bend, so you can sometimes find signed stock there (I usually check in at the local grocery at Black Butte when I'm up there every year and sign the books that are brought in).

Or, you can mail your books to the snail mail address at this site. I will autograph them and send them back to you. Either way, be sure to include your mailing address.

The best way to be sure of getting a hardback copy of the book is to buy it as soon as it comes out. The hardbacks are allowed to go out of print when the paperback copies come out approximately one year later. If you are looking for hardbacks of the older books, then you may find them in used book stores, on Amazon, on E-bay or on Addall.com. If you are looking for hardbacks of the US editions of the Farseer Trilogy, they simply do not exist.

this time, most of The Saint books by Leslie Charteris are out-of-print. The last major publishing was in the 1980's by Ace-Charter paperbacks, and it would make sense to reprint them again if a new TV series appears in 2007 or 2008. In the meantime, the Advanced Book Exchange (Abebooks.com) has a great wealth of collectible and reading editions for you to read first-hand about The Saint's adventures. McCammon doesn't sign books sent through the mail, so the only ways to get signed books are to catch him at one of the planned book-signing appearances he'll be doing in 2002, or to purchase signed copies from book dealers. You can often find signed editions of McCammon's books for sale on eBay (though I'd stay away from other auction sites---the asking prices are way too high on all the others, though I don't know why).
