No. Children take to nudity like ducks to water. Cases of children being upset by the sight of nude people are extremely rare. As people grow up, they are taught by social convention that nudity is wrong or shocking. You are not born with an aversion to human bodies: before the Victorian period society was far more tolerant of the bare body and we seem to be moving steadily back in that direction. The Naturist Action Committee is the volunteer political adjunct to TNS. However, NAC is incorporated separately from TNS and has its own charter, bylaws, and elected board of directors. The nine members of NAC's board are elected democratically at large from and by the members of The Naturist Society. The Naturist Society has a nonvoting ex officio position on the board of NAC.

One is the "landed" club which owns property, generally including amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball courts, an occasional private lake, etc. Membership fees for an organization such as this must cover the purchases and maintenance cost of all of these amenities among its members. Normally you would be met by an existing member and would be shown around the club grounds and facilities. You would also have the opportunity to meet other members at the club on the day of your visit so you can ask them additional questions if you wish. Having been shown round the club you would then have the choice of staying for as long as you like for the rest of the day or you can go away and have a think about whether you wish to join or not. You would be under no pressure whatsoever.

There are some 30 nudist beaches on Gran Canaria, with the most famous being around the Sand Dunes in Maspalomas. Naturism is not acceptable everywhere though, as a general rule it is best to cover up inside the main resort areas. Several Hotels offer designated Naturist areas and there is even a dedicated Naturist Complex called Magnolias Natura.

But most towns and villages have hotels and rooms to rent and with the exception of the more remote beaches if you find somewhere you love it should be quite easy to find somewhere to stay nearby, especially outside the peak of the season.

Greek island beaches can be wild and natural places where there is no supervision. Nonetheless, please remember we are guests in another country and you should do nothing to cause offence either to local people or to other users of the beach. The Captain does occasionally, unfortunately, hear stories of naturists who have confused the beach with their bedrooms. Please use your common sense. Inappropriate behaviour could lead to naturists being expelled.

If you are a nautical naturist Croatia is ideal for you. Today there are 41 marinas with all necessary accompanying facilities at its disposal.

Yes and no. In Croatia naturist resorts and beaches are open to everybody. You don't need INF-FNI or any other membership to get into naturist resorts. However, if you have one most resorts will give you a discount (5-15%). Also some naturist resorts (Koversada, Solaris...) require valid INF card from single men in order to get in the resort.

Most of the Croatian naturist resorts are family oriented, but you don't have to worry, singles are welcome everywhere.
