You can order at any time of the year, although ideally you should place your order at the start of the winter season. You will need to plant out at around the same time as you would normally plant tomatoes. For the USA, Canada and Great Britain, we suggest you order between November and February, while Australia and New Zealand we suggest you order between April and September. This will allow two to three months before planting out begins. For other countries seeds can be sown early spring.

The 'dry' season from April to October seems to be generally considered preferable, at least as far as weather is concerned.

Particularly for westerners, the best time to go is between October - April, not only because of the more tolerable temperatures, but also because within the Ayurvedic system, eyes are likely to respond better to treatment in cooler conditions. In my case however, out of desperation, my first visit was in August - and it was subsequent to this visit that most improvement happened.

Although you can get a tattoo any time of the year, your skin gets a lot more abuse during the summer with swimming, tanning and just being exposed to the elements more. Winter time is really the best season to get a tattoo.

Rather than selecting cheaper, out of season dates for our holidays, we offer the optimum times for walking and viewing local wildlife and the surroundings. Walking options, weather and wildlife may vary slightly between departure dates, each destination page gives details where this is the case.

There is no bad time to fish in these waters. Weather and depth of fishing do change, however. From our opening in mid-May through late June the walleyes are aggressive and in the shallows. The pike also tend to be in the shallower waters and stack up by rapids and other moving water. The weather can be unpredictable and cooler, but usually by the first week in June the temperatures are in the 70s.

In October or November, however, December and January are not too late to ensure adequate protection against the flu.

Answer - Any time that you're not in the hospital. Just kidding.....almost. Most folks fish for crappie in the Spring time when the fish are up shallow and are at their easiest to catch. Of course, Spring is the most unstable of the months weather wise. Every time a front passes through, the fish will react to it, and generally in a negative manner. My favorite time is Summer and Fall. Fish are totally dependable in their locations, and are most willing to eat a jig.

Ornaments are usually half priced after xmas, but you will never see the stylish hedgeapple on the shelves that long.

A lot depends on the trip. The following paragraphs and table will give you an idea of what trips are possible, and more importantly enjoyable, at various times of the year. The spring and fall months of March through May and September through November are typically the most pleasant temperature-wise. The spring brings blooming flowers and longer days which are always a treat. The fall sees stable weather and the cottonwood trees speckle the redrock canyons with brilliant yellow leaves.

It really depends on what you want to fish for but if your like most folks its Marlin. A good rule of thumb is the hotter it is the better the fishing will be. Warm water is what they're looking for. Generally speaking no. The problem that arises with a full moon is it sometimes effects the live bait availability. The chuhuilla and caballitos tend to swim a little deeper making them harder to catch. However, a full moon also brings out the Dorado so there is a slight advantage there.

Really anytime of year is good for a hot air balloon flight; it's just that every season has it's own appeal. Summer is fun because everyone seems to be outside and there is more activity around the balloon at launch and landing. Fall has such brilliant colors as the leaves change and sometimes there's a nip in the air saying that winter is coming soon. Winter has crisp and clear skies that make you feel like you can see forever. You can easily see the wildlife through the empty branches.

IMHO, september through november. you're going to miss a ski season pretty much no matter which way you go. having it these months guarantees that you'll be ready for the next season. and since you can do almost anything else after 6 months, you're not going to miss out on fun stuff like hiking and biking during the next summer.

Considering that these islands are placed directly under the equator, the climate is far from being excessively hot; this seems chiefly caused by the singularly low temperature of the surrounding water, brought here by the great southern polar current. Excepting during one short season, very little rain falls, and even then it is irregular.

July and August offer the best deals on hotels and fewer visitors than the spring or fall, but the heat index soars. December and January also offer reasonable deals along with milder temperatures. The busiest times to visit (other than Mardi Gras, of course) are March and October when the weather is gorgeous and city wide conventions are most commonly booked. Hotel rooms can be hard to find and expensive.

The optimum time to install a roof is when the temperatures are above freezing and the wind and rain are at the lowest intensity and frequency. This allows the roofer the best conditions for installation, with the fewest interruptions and lowest risk of leaking. Unless you are very fortunate, sometimes you cannot schedule the roofing work during these periods, and you may need to install the roof in cold temperatures, or in the rainy season.

This is a question for which there is no exact answer. For most visitors, an African safari is a once in a lifetime experience and they want to of course maximize their game viewing experience in the time they have allotted. However, Africa and the African safari areas have their own true seasons and the benefits of travelling during one time of year versus another must be weighed by the individual guest.

During the peak season (summer, see our Moving Tips section for more information), your move will cost more. But, if you have children, they will have finished their school year so moving will be less of a hassle. If you have children, the best time to move is the Peak season. But, if you don’t then you have a choice and can usually move at any time of the year.

If you are interested in hiking, the best time to visit is July through October. Trails are typically still covered with snow through the middle of June. Of course, this all depends on weather conditions. Aspen does not typically see a heavy first snow until October/November. Again, this cannot be predicted.

Southern Africa, Australia and Argentina are in the Southern hemisphere, so seasons are opposite - and there are good times to go, in each area, all year round. Winters are a wonderful time - cool rather than cold, and of course spring and fall are perfect. Summers in most places are less hot than you might imagine, so let's talk to discuss options. East Africa is on the equator, where weather issues revolve around a couple months of rainy season.

Any time is a good time. Roofing materials are safe to install year round in our service area, which stretches roughly from Baltimore, MD to Richmond, VA. Our winters are relatively mild so we work all year round, weather permitting. Homeowner maintenance should be confined to roof inspections in both the fall and spring to check for cracked or curling shingles, and to cleaning rain gutters filled with dead leaves and other debris.

Moisture levels of exterior wood are normally lowest in September and October. Temperature and humidity are typically ideal for proper drying during the autumn months when most house painters paint their own homes (this rule does not apply to the Pacific Northwest where it sometimes never stops raining).

Because a crawl space is indoors and more or less a conditioned air space, our crews can effectively work year round. The concrete has an ideal curing situation in a crawl space. Winter months present issues with cleanup outside because of freezing water and we usually wait for temperatures above 20 degrees.

Fishing is good year round in Hawaii. Some months tend to be more productive than others, especially for certain species. See my Maui fishing seasons chart listing frequently caught Hawaii game fish and their most abundant months in Hawaiian waters.

Several periods offer their own advantages: the first 15 days of January, and the period comprised between August 1 and August 15 are the best periods for hotel discounts. August is a great month until August 20 because car trafic is much lighter. May and June are usually great months for their mild temperatures. September can be great during an Indian summer, but the hotels get crowded. The period extending from right before Christmas to righ after New Year Eve is terrifically romantic.

In October or November, however, December and January are not too late to ensure adequate protection against the flu.

Most visitors come to the Canyon from May through September. If you decide to come then, be aware that the high season, while beautiful, means large crowds and parking at a premium. In the off-season from October through April, crowds are minimal and seeing the Canyon with a dusting of snow is worth the trip! Beware that some parts of the park and some services are closed in the off-season.

Diving is superb year-round. Several species of whales are present during the winter months, however, the seas can be a little rough. While Hawaii does not have an actual rainy season, average rainfall is slightly higher between February and April.
