You should move the ring to the red bead on the day that you start your period. If you know that you started your period anytime before midnight, move the ring to the red bead that day. The next morning (or whenever you normally move the ring) you should move it to the following bead. If you started your period during the night and are not sure what time it started, move the ring to the red bead when you wake up and consider that day to be Day 1 of your menstrual cycle.

Yes, the University's Safe Ride and Safe Walk Program provides a trained student or University Police staff member to escort students on campus. Students need only to call 7-2393 from on campus to gain assistance. A Safe Ride van also circles the campus from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. every night during the academic year. All students are urged to take advantage of this service if they do not wish to walk alone on campus.

In most cases, access to the Race site is by way of roadways that are also used as part of the bike or run courses. As a result, all vehicular traffic is prohibited on these roadways at the start of the FIRST swim wave to protect the safety of those athletes who will be racing on the courses. In all fairness and for safety of all athletes and their property, we must insist that the transition area be closed to all but racers-in-progress.

A Students may arrive late but must make sure to arrive by the date of the placement exam (see program itinerary), and students must let their appropriate admissions officer know at least 4 weeks prior to the start date of the program. There are many supermarkets in Florida. Some open 24 hours a day. However if you request it in advance we can arrange a "Welcome food pack" that includes basic items to carry you over to the next day. There is a charge for this service.

No. We start at 1:00pm on Thursday and end at 4:00pm on Sunday; we cover a lot of material in just a few short days and everyone is required to be there the whole time. There are meal & snack breaks, and everyone sleeps at the facility. Part of what makes the workshop safe and so powerful is that everyone participates in all of it. TBW has many different experiences that are all important to the outcome; missing out on parts of it would just be confusing.

All participants are expected to be on site on the scheduled day of arrival, and stay until the end of the seminar. Only for exceptional circumstances can the seminar faculty allow a student to miss any seminar time.
