PSP can be incorporated to work with PS3 in various ways. It can act as remote control or addition viewing angle for certain games. It is ultimately up to game developers and PS3 community to come up with new and interesting way to use PSP and PS3 together.

We've used several standard USB headsets and they worked just fine. I tried a Logitech model and it was perfect; the PS3 recognized it just fine. Any typical PC headset should work.

With Sony going for wireless controllers, it's doubtful that the older PS2 controllers will work with the PS3.

No, they will not. For PSP 8, Jasc changed how brushes work. They even use a different file extension (.PspBrush). The good news is that the brushes can be much larger. PSP 8 is a fantastic program, too. Just have patience and wait for brushes to be made for you. (There are even better brushes included!)

I click on the butterfly in multiples like it said I could do, but I can't get the magic wand to color anything. I have it activated and set to the right settings but it will not color. This is easy - now I know the problem! The Magic Wand is only used to select the area(s) you want to colour not to apply the actual colour.

The symptoms of PSP are caused by a gradual deterioration of brain cells in a few tiny but important places in the base of the brain. All Adobe-compatible and Aldus-compatible filters/plug-ins should work with PSP, but they must be "code-compatible". This means that they must be 32-bit for PSP 4 and 5, and 16-bit for PSP 3. 32-bit filters usually have the extension ".8bf". http://www.jasc.com/psp4tech.html. Other plugins apparently require plugin.dll from Adobe to work, and it can make plugins work better. This .dll is not available from Jasc, and is an Adobe proprietary product.

I don't know generally. If the plugin is an .8be or .8bf file, put it into the "plugins" directory, and try it. If you have msvcrt10.dll and plugin.dll, and it still doesn't work, I can't help you. But someone on the group probably can. In PSP 5 select File > Preferences > General Preferences. Then select the Plug-In tab. Here you specify upto three different folders that can contain plugins.

The PS3 client will also support some advanced visualization features. While the Cell microprocessor does most of the calculation processing of the simulation, the graphic chip of the PLAYSTATION 3 system (the RSX) displays the actual folding process in real-time using new technologies such as HDR and ISO surface rendering.
