A "Rocksim Fin" is a Laser cut fin, out of the material you select, with exactly the shape and dimensions of the fin in the Rocksim.rkt design file you submit. Your design file is sent through thru several post processing programs, which produce an output file which drives the Laser cutting machine.

When using traditional fins you kick from the hips and make broad strokes, moving the water below or above the fin.
