If your application for a renewal of your permanent resident card is denied, you will receive a letter that will tell you why the application was denied. You will not be allowed to appeal a negative decision. However, you may submit a motion to reopen or a motion to reconsider with the same office that made the unfavorable decision. By filing such a motion, you may ask the INS office to reexamine or reconsider its decision.

Yes. Your parent military service will explain why your application was disapproved, and they will provide the appeal process. The appeal process involves either providing additional documentation to your parent service to reconsider your application, or an application for correction of military record. application for correction of military record is not the daunting task it may seem. It involves completing a DD form 149 and attaching documentation you feel makes your case.

If your application is denied, the denial letter will tell you how to appeal. Generally, you may file a Notice of Appeal along with the required fee at the Vermont Service Center within 33 days of receiving the denial. Once the fee is collected and the form is processed at the Service Center, the appeal will be referred to the Administrative Appeals Unit in Washington, D.C. Sending the appeal and fee directly to the AAU will delay the process.

Most patients will once or twice feel pain or vomit after intake of food. This is in most cases caused by eating too much and too quick. If eating is slow and calm, patients will learn to listen to the signals from the stomach. Eating should be abandoned if the patient feels nauseated, have pain or vomits.
