In contrast to overall varnishing, shiny "spot" varnishing registers the varnish on a particular selected part of the copy/design. The effect is to highlight that part of the copy/design. The charge for spot varnishing is the same as a 2-color charge. It is available on any of our imported match books and boxes (items from #1002 to1053,1060 to 1069, 2010 to 2031, and 2038 to 2040).

Spot varnishing is used to coat an area on coated paper. This is usually done to accomplish a design aesthetic. We do not provide spot varnishing as part of our standard product offerings, but can handle it for Custom jobs.
