A: Episode III was officially cancelled in November of 2001. A number of different factors contributed to the premature demise of Episode III, the primary one being a change in Auspex's personal and professional interests and obligations during that particular time period. The difficulty and time investment involved in implementing all of the ambitious additions to Episode III (including cinematics and new units) also contributed to the campaign's demise.

HEROES III is a turn-based strategy game, set up in a classical role-playing game Environment.
