We recommend that the bag rest in the lumbar region of your back just above your bum. However, try out different heights to find your most comfortable position

Consider your heavy bag as your opponent. With that in mind, the bag should be high enough to deliver a blow to the "head", so the top of the bag should be about level with the top of your head. If you have a very short bag, you may need to adjust this height somewhat. Unfortunately, this is normal. The combination of your punches and gravity are causing the contents of the bag to settle to the bottom. The best and maybe only option you have, is to purchase an outer cover for your bag.

The Down Doctor sez, “DO NOT store your down sleeping bag in a stuff sack. If it has been stored in a stuff sack, take it out, stretch it out, and let it rest for a few days. Then wash the bag, and dry it thoroughly on low to medium heat. To tell if the bag is completely dry, put one hand inside the bag, and the other hand outside, then feel between your two hands for any lumps. If the down feels clumped put it back in the dryer until you don’t feel any little lumps or balls.

If the piece does not have an additional hanger welded on, we suggest using finishing nails (nails without large heads). On every piece there is a part that is closest to the wall that will act a natural "hanger" such as the toes of a lizard. You should use it to hang the piece on nails.

The most successful bat houses are those mounted on a building or a chimney at a height of 15 feet or more. In cooler climates the bat house should be mounted facing the south or east. In warmer climates all directions have proved successful. The house should face a clearing and be located away from branches or power lines. Bat houses with ventilation slots on the side should be mounted so the slots will not be obstructed by the eaves of the building.

Normal to lightweight pictures can typically be hung using a picture hanger with a nail driven anywhere into the sheetrock just like in frame construction. Heavier weight objects will need to be hung by screwing or nailing into the imbedded web, one of which is imbedded in the block running floor to ceiling spaced every six inches. The webs can be located much the same as in frame construction using either a magnetic stud finder (find the screws), or a sensitive electronic stud finder.

I upgraded to OpenSSH 3.1 and X11 forwarding stopped working. Starting with OpenSSH 3.1, the sshd x11 forwarding server listens on localhost by default; see the sshd X11UseLocalhost option to revert to prior behaviour if your older X11 clients do not function with this configuration. In general, X11 clients using X11 R6 should work with the default setting. Some vendors, including HP, ship X11 clients with R6 and R5 libs, so some clients will work, and others will not work.

GCCA requires that all fish are double-bagged. Cichlids often have sharp spines on their dorsal fins that can puncture single bags easily. Fish bags of various sizes may be purchased from pet shops. Bags are often available at GCCA meetings, too. Very large fish may be brought in five gallon buckets. Choose a bag that is large enough to hold the fish you are bringing. In general, choose a bag with a width equal to three times the body length of the fish.

Burlap bags or sacks were used by nearly every farmer years ago to transport grain and livestock feed. They would put their grain into the burlap bags, take it to a feed grinding facility and have it ground into a rather course textured meal. They would then use that to feed their livestock. The Amish farmers of Northeast Indiana still use burlap bags today for that very same purpose. The burlap bag is made of a light brown, very course material.

Depends on the individual, but most hikers find that a down or synthetic bag rated at +20? F is a good compromise between warmth and weight/bulk. You might choose to add a VBL (vapor barrier liner) at Kennedy Meadows in early season for the high Sierra, or a 5? F bag. Otherwise you will probably be a little chilly at times. Most hikers carry a light sleeping pad, but some insulate themselves from the ground with only clothing and gear.

Wash in Granger’s Down Wash Plus.. Do not use typical liquid laundry detergent on Gore-Tex fabric. It may leave a residue ( such as fabric softeners, fragrance, color brighteners) which could clog the pores of the Gore-Tex. We recommend using warm water for wash and rinse. Do not use all hot or all cold water. It is extremely important to rinse the down very well. We recommend two rinse cycles. For spot cleaning, Granger’s offers G-Wash Spray Cleaner Plus.

You can put dressings, incontinence pads and dialysis waste in your yellow bag. Under no circumstances should you put other waste material in them, including metal medical instruments, glass bottles, cleaning materials, pharmaceutical drugs, prescription-only medicines or any substance listed in the Special Waste Regulations 1996 (SI 972).

Yes you can. In fact, it's a good idea to pack those liquids, aerosols and gels you want to take on board with you before you get to the airport. Make sure that any bag you choose is transparent, plastic, resealable and has a volume no greater than one litre. When purchasing your bag please ensure that the sum of the four sides does not exceed 80cm. For example a 20x20cm bag would be 20+ 20+ 20+ 20 which equals 80cm.

The logos or pictures are fine under the following conditions: they must be contained within a space no more than four centimetres from the base of the bag, and may run the entire width of one side of the bag. Any logos or pictures placed within this space must be at least 50% transparent.

We do not allow any of our guests to bring sleeping bags with them as bugs and mites are known to live in them, and we do not want these in our hostels, let alone our guests having them. All our hostels provide bed linen (some hostels charge a supplement of ?2), or alternatively you can bring your own. Sleep sheets are also allowed. Blankets are also provided and towels can be rented in most hostels.

There are many who believe you should use a mesh or onion bag to help in the distribution of the spores back to the forest floor. The Great Morel knows of no pure scientific data to support this. Passengers can choose the type of bag that they wish to use as long as it meets the requirements of the new screening standards. The bag must be transparent, re-sealable and of a capacity not exceeding 1 litre (20cm x 20 cm or 15cm x 25 cm).
