ARMA operates through a structure of strong committees with participation by a broad representation of Regular and Associate Members: Assist ARMA staff in the compilation and dissemination of pertinent information through the use of technical bulletins, manuals/guides, trade press and internal/external newsletters to maintain and enhance the sale of, and to promote the proper use of bituminous-based residential, built-up, and modified bitumen roofing products.

Each national standing committee is coordinated by a National Officer, who works with the Local Officers of their standing committee at medical schools throughout the United States. In this way, the National Officer serves as a source of information and support to Local Officers that are building international projects, workshops, and opportunities for the students at their respective medical schools.

Task force membership will draw upon faculty, staff, students and, when appropriate, alumni and others from the greater community. Membership for most task forces will be finalized in August.

The House uses a coordinated meeting schedule for the session and the two weeks prior to the session. Committees may meet at times not on the schedule. The House morning bracket standing committees ("B" bracket committees) usually begin their meetings at 8:30 a.m. on their designated meeting days and 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays, if necessary. The Data Repository Committee -Reviews reports filed on physicians from statutorily-mandated reporting sources. The Licensing Committee -Reviews applications for licensure and requests for waivers from Board requirements.
