Dry food is best for your kitten. Canned food is more expensive and can't be left out all day. It also contributes to tartar buildup and gum disease. Dry food helps scrub the teeth clean, reducing the need for dental care at the vet. We will let you know ahead of time what kind of food the kitten is used to.

If you're interested in buying a kitten, please contact us, preferably by telephone. We'll let you know when new litters are expected. You can send a refundable deposit of $50 to us to get on the waiting list for a kitten. If you specify a color and such a kitten is born, we will contact you and find out if you want to come to see the kittens. You have the right to pass and wait for another litter. If you decide that you want it, you can pay the balance and the kitten will be reserved for you.

Milk is a food and not a substitute for water. As a food, milk is incomplete and does not provide a balanced diet. It can be useful as a treat for some cats, however large quantities of milk may not be well tolerated. Milk contains lactose, which requires the enzyme lactase for breakdown in the intestinal tract. If the intestinal tract does not contain sufficient lactase, consumption of a high level of lactose can cause diarrhea in some pets.

We recommend getting a good quality food from a pet store. For over-the-counter food, we prefer Nutro Max and Iams.

There are many premium kitten foods currently available to pet owners. Our hospital recommends several diets. We would be happy to provide you with samples of any of the above diets so that you can determine which one better suits your kitten's needs. A common herbivore is the Iguana (IGUANA IGUANA) Herbivores eat vegetables, plants, leaves, flowers, etc. A common carnivore is the Leopard Gecko (EUBLEPHARIS MACULARIUS). Carnivores eat crickets, locusts, pinkies etc. Iguanas will eat small crickets when young. And Bearded Dragons will eat small amounts of veg whilst they are adults as an added bonus to their diet. Premium foods have much more protein and far less waste products than the lesser priced foods. This translates into nutrients that go directly to help an animal's teeth, coat and bones. For kittens, usually 6-8 months is long enough. For puppies, it depends on the size. A small breed puppy can be switched over to adult small breed food after 6 or 8 months. ANSWER: We feed our dogs "Pro Kennel's Choice Puppy Food" which is very similar to Iams Performance foods, except in price ;-) Because this is not a nationally advertised brand, and we purchase our food directly from the manufacturer, our food costs about a THIRD of the cost of Iams, etc. This is a chicken and meat meal based formula, with the proper balance of DHA, Omega 6, and Omega 3 (very important for puppy health, and Mom's reproductive and general health.) This food does not contain soy!

We Do Not sell any of our cats or kittens for breeding. We would need to get to know someone and work closely with them before entrusting them with a cat for breeding and right now we don't have the time to do that. Many of our kittens are of a quality that could be shown. If we have an outstanding show quality kitten chances are we will keep it to show ourselves. since all of our kittens are sold on a spay/neuter contract they would only be able to be shown as a premier.

More expensive dog food have organic products, vitamins, and a vide variety of meats. Natura's adult formulas are balanced for all life stages, and can therefore be used for puppies and kittens as well as adult pets. Dry food is left in the cage at all times ,,and they don't tend to overeat. They have fruit every day, vegetable every day or every second day mealworms a couple every second day, crickets sporadically Fruit and vegetable baby foods or I blend apples etc for them...this is when they are first eating. afterwards I add dry cat food, boiled eggs and mealworms. boiled eggs seem to be a huge favourite as well as blueberry baby food. mealworms are left til the last to introduce them to.
