Courses are offered in two sessions every quarter. Student who are new to online at The King’s may only take one course in their first session. After their first session, students may enroll for a maximum of two courses. So students who are new to online could take one course in their first session and 2 courses in their second session resulting in 3 courses for the quarter.

One a student has been admitted to the graduate program, a full-time load is ten hours, which is usually two courses, but a student may register for as many as 15 quarter hours.

Most students opt for the two-year program for working professionals. They complete two 3-credit courses each term, taken back-to-back to enable them to focus on one course at a time. Students in the full-time, one-year, program complete four courses each term, two at a time.

The Academy program is voluntary, so you can take courses when it is convenient for you. You can take a quarter off, take classes for just one quarter, etc.

You should choose courses for your major. You should make a special effort to enroll in any lower-division preparatory subject courses that you have not yet completed. Your major adviser can assist you in choosing those courses.

OSBC's Online Consortium Hosting Service (OCHS), provides member school districts with access to course management software, technical support, central hosting, and course content. Students must be registered with an OCHS member school district in order to access OSBC online courses. To learn if a school district is an OCHS member, or how a district can become one, contact OSBC Customer Service.

There is no limit to the number of online courses one can apply toward a degree. At this time QCC, does not offer enough online courses to earn a degree, so you will have to take a mix of online and traditional, on-campus courses.

Online courses are regular courses and thus subject only to the general rules that govern the number of hours you may take in your particular academic status.

There will be changes periodically. Changes occur mainly as a result of student and instructor feedback to our Web site. This is done to maximize the tools.

Three additional non-cohort classes (4 units each) are required; these are offered during the school year and summer term. Although the number of courses required to graduate has increased from 40 to 45, most or all of those five additional courses will be eliminated via the recalculation of courses. That is, in most cases, for every 10 semester courses converted, you will receive credit for 11 quarter courses. The conversion calculator assigns 1.12 quarter courses to each semester course, which means: If you have credit for 40 semester courses, you will receive 44.8 quarter courses (units).

The National Academy for the Gifted students can choose an unlimited amount of gifted school courses for a full-time program or as few as one gifted school course for a supplement to an existing education program.

This program is designed for students who wish to complete their entire degree online. On-campus students will be admitted to online courses only if there is room and subject to the approval of their advisors.

We would recommend that you start with one or two courses starting out, to make sure that you have the motivation to learn in this environment. We also recommend that you take no more than 8 online credits within a typical school year. [return to top]

Once you are accepted into the MSHS-IHW Program and you submit the necessary paperwork and fees, you are considered a matriculated student. GNM students should register for all courses through Non-Degree Enrollment. Registration materials and instructions will be mailed to successful applicants the quarter they are accepted. ACUHO-I does not recommend a particular number. However, according to separate studies done by ACUHO-I, American School & University, and College Planning & Management, square footage per student ranges from a mean of 296 s.f. and a medium of 320 s.f. for suite-style facilities. For residence halls, square feet per student ranged from 175 to 450 s.f., with a median of 346 s.f.

American Council on Education (ACE) has recommended 25 Villanova University online courses: Essentials of Project Management, Project Management for IS/IT Professionals, Mastering Project Management, Advanced Strategic Project Management Practices, Maximizing Team Effectiveness, Maximizing IS/IT Team Effectiveness , PMP® Prep, Project Management Capstone, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma, Essentials of Commercial Contract Management, Essentials of Government Contract Ma.

Full-time students generally take 15 credits, or three classes each quarter. There are some exceptions to this; students taking MATH 121, or participating in ROTC or chorale may have additional credits. Freshmen may not enroll for more than 18 credits during their first quarter of college. Taking only three courses may seem like a breeze compared to the five or more classes you had in high school. However, college level courses are much more demanding.

There are no official restrictions, but it is not recommended to take more than 2 upper division courses in economics every quarter since these are not easy courses!

In addition to a 4-credit First-Year Seminar, most students take three more 4-credit courses during their first quarter at DU. DU’s curriculum allows ample room for completion of University Undergraduate requirements, major and minor requirements, business core courses (if applicable) plus multiple elective credits.

Answer: No. You may apply for only one CCS emphasis with this application. You should apply to the emphasis to which you are most strongly committed. Should you be accepted to UCSB and to Creative Studies, you may inquire about applying to a second emphasis in Creative Studies, or to a second major in the College of Letters and Science. University of Maryland awards the standard .67 credit per credit-hour of study at institutions on the quarter system. A 3-credit course there will merit 2 credits here. Your College advisor will work with you to assign these credits within your program of study.

Courses taken on the quarter system at an accredited institution are considered for transfer. Basically, for every 3 quarter hours we issue 2 semester hours' credit.

Always refer to GOLD for the most updated course offerings and locations. However, here is a tentative listing of Law & Society courses by quarter.

We assume that a quarter-system credit equals .75 (3/4ths) of a semester-system credit. Thus, if you took two 3-credit hour courses on the quarter system (6 credits x 0.75), they would only be equal to 4.5 semester hours; therefore, you would need to complete an additional quarter hour course to equal at least six semester hours, if two full semesters of a type of course are required.
