Why do I need an in office standing ultra sound if I already had one at the Hospital?
The Woodlands Vein Clinic & Medical SpaThe ultra sound done at the Hospital was likely done with you lying down on a table. The purpose of that ultra sound was to look for Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). The ultra sound that we do here at our office is done to check the function of the valves inside the superficial veins of your legs. A laying down ultra sound cannot achieve this.
