REFB has no official sponsor but has received generous support from a number of local businesses and individuals (our sponsors). Organizations or individuals interested in providing sponsorship or in-kind support are asked to contact Greg Arnold.

We have three sets of sponsors. The first is our sponsored web host (mt) Media Temple. They provide our site with free hosting, unlimited bandwidth, and overall server maintenance, which keeps our site freshly pumped for online viewing and fast access. Second, ever since our initial launch we have connected with non-profitable design sites and portals that have supported us and have helped us spread the word of our site. We also would like to support some of the sites of the design community.

Taking the quiz is quick, easy, and fun. Teens can simply log on to the National Campaign's teen website — StayTeen.org — to go directly to the quiz.

From the very first draft, teens are helping to develop and critique the scenarios and answer choices, including the Campaign own Youth Leadership Team, our DC Teen Advisory Group, our Youth Online Network, teen visitors to the Campaign's website, and many others. In addition to teens, a diverse group of media experts and a variety of health and youth-service organizations help develop and review the quiz.

National Coming Out Day (NCOD) celebrates Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender persons. The first NCOD occurred as a march in Washington, D.C. on October 11, 1987. Months later, several individuals decided to celebrate this march by recognizing its anniversary every year. Since then, this date has been widely celebrated and is seen as a symbol of hope and strength for many people in the LGBT community.

On the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, teens are asked to go online and take a fun, engaging "quiz" that presents them with several real life scenarios involving sex and asked them to choose a course of action. In 2007, approximately 350,000 people participated in the 6th annual National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (up from 75,000 in 2001). The National Day Quiz will remian online at StayTeen.org throughout the month of May. However, we encourage teens to take the quiz on the actual National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.

No. Unfortunately, we were not in a position to accommodate individual printing orders. We do have a free brochure, however, available for download.

Simply by taking the quiz, we believe that tens of thousands of teens nationwide stop, think, and begin making a personal commitment to avoid pregnancy. To learn more, read the 2007 National Day Overview.

Once teens complete the National Day quiz, they will be invited to visit the National Campaign's teen website — StayTeen.org — for further information on preventing pregnancy. Teens will also be asked if they would voluntarily like to stay connected with the National Campaign by joining the Campaign's Youth Online Network.

No. But there are materials that one can use to publicize the National Day, including wristbands, temporary tattoos, pens, and more. Check out the the Campaign's online store for more information. Items will be available in February 2008.

No. All participants are expected to be there by 9:00 a.m. to participate in the opening ceremony. Each project will then have a judging time scheduled. The award ceremony will be held at 1:00. All participants are invited to an open swim in the high school pool from 2:00-3:00. All participants are expected to attend the opening, project judging, and awards but are free to leave in between these times.

The Consortium is sponsored by state and federal funds and by those participating institutions named above. Specific studies conducted throughout the Consortium are funded by state and federal funds, by pharmaceutical corporations and by public and private dollars.

Sponsors, whether a school official or a law firm attorney, must agree to sponsor the candidate, proctor the candidate's exam and certify that the candidate will not receive outside assistance when taking the exam. In a remarkable coincidence, it was also the date that keen royal philatelist George, Duke of York, acceded to the throne as King George V. The 'Philatelist King' is the subject of our major summer exhibition due in 2010.

National Trails Day is a celebration of trails that evolved from the report of President Ronald Reagan's President's Commission on Americans Outdoors. In 1987, the report recommended that all Americans be able to go out their front doors and within fifteen minutes, be on trails that wind through their cities, towns or villages and bring them back without retracing steps.

Trails do not just appear for our enjoyment, it takes many hours of planning, labor, and negotiating, to develop them. National Trails Day, the only nationwide celebration of trails, is a day that brings awareness to trails and thanks the many people for their support and hard work, including volunteers, land agencies, and outdoor minded businesses. It is also a day to introduce people to the many enjoyments and benefits of trails.

Since 1993, National Trails Day has grown to inspire nearly a million people to enjoy trails on the same day nationwide. All 50 states have participated in events, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Guam and the Virgin Islands. National Trails Day is now a permanent fixture on the calendars of trail clubs, businesses, and government agencies.
