You may earn a high school diploma from the state where you are now residing or you may earn a Louisiana high school diploma if you meet the Louisiana graduation requirements.

The Phoenix Academy issues diplomas to those who qualify. Students can earn a diploma from the Phoenix Academy or from their home high school if it is a Toledo Public Schools high school.Students can participate in either graduation as long as graduation requirements are met and prior approval is obtained. Participation in the graduation ceremony and awarding of diplomas must be certified by the Phoenix Academy counselor.

The GED Testing Program compares your performance on the tests to the results of Grade 12 students on the same tests. The tests take into consideration the skills and knowledge people are expected to retain from high school, especially the ability to reason, put together information, and draw conclusions. If you obtain a standard score of at least 450 on each of the five GED Tests, you will receive an Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate.

The spring semester of the senior year is the last semester a Joint Enrollment student may attend KSU without re-applying for admission. Following high school graduation, the student must re-apply for "beginning freshman" status and submit a final high school transcript showing all senior year grades and date of high school graduation. Our current highest class is our grade 12, which academically is far beyond the current grade 12 in this province. Though New Century Scholars must enroll at SCC within 15 months of graduation from high school. NCS students are strongly encouraged to enroll the fall right after graduating from high school. The NCS scholarship pays tuition and fees for five semesters of college work (full or part-time enrollment). This allows two years to complete an Associates degree. Many degree programs require a summer term. The five semesters of NCS support allows for this.

The Theatre department has no specific requirement. All applicants must meet the general Admission Requirements for the college.

Definitely, we must have a final, official high school transcript in each studentâ??s file. Students without final, official documents will have a hold put on their account and will not be able to register for a second semester until the document arrives.
