This depends on the type and version of the browser you are using. To know what version you are using, click on Help then About Internet Explorer or About Communicator. For Internet Explorer 4.*, click on View then Internet Options. Choose Connections folder then on the Automatic Configuration Category click on Configure button then an address box will appear. Unfortunately, you would need to reconfigure your browser every time you need to switch proxy servers. What should I do if the old Proxy server is still set up (or I have another proxy server set up by my ISP or company?)

Netscape 4.x crashes on the Macintosh (but only on the Macintosh) when configured to use the proxy server.
