Marine Aquarium is an aquarium simulation program. It can be assigned as a screen saver, but it was primarily designed to emulate the elegance and serenity of watching an aquarium.

Some characters in the keycode can be easily confused (i.e. O and zero, capitol I and the number one, etc.). Try to copy and paste your keycode into the registration space to avoid any possible input errors. Also, your copy of Marine Aquarium may have been corrupted during download or installation.

All of the options below are found in the Marine Aquarium preferences under the "Settings" tab. To bring up the menu, press the spacebar on your keyboard while Marine Aquarium 2.6 is running. Limit Frame Rate (FPS) - Forces the frame rate (animation speed) of the Marine Aquarium to the frequency you select. If Marine Aquarium is jerking, or running slowly, you may need to reduce the frame rate below the default 62 by using the slider bar.

The simplest way to unisntall the Marine Aquarium is to run the Uninstall option through the Start menu under Programs/SereneScreen/Marine Aquarium. Alternativly you can use the Add/Remove Programs utility located in the Control Panel to remove Marine Aquarium. This should clean your system of any Marine Aquarium data. However, if you want to be doubly sure, you can go through the longer uninstall process below: First remove any previous versions of the Marine Aquarium from your system.

Salinity is a measure of the total amount of dissolved salts in seawater. It is measured in parts per thousand (ppt or 0/00). The average salinity of the ocean is around 34 to 37 ppt. Marine aquariums are measured in specific gravity. Specific gravity may be defined as the ration of the density of the liquid to the density of water. The specific gravity of seawater at 35 ppt is 1.026. The proper range for a marine aquarium is 1.020 to 1.026.

Yes, Dream Aquarium will display an aquarium on each monitor, and the fish and settings can be changed individually for each monitor. Click on the "Browse" button. This will open a dialog box appropriately named "Browse" which contains the directory structure of your computer in its main window. Find the screen saver executable file (note that the folder or directory in which you placed the executable file during the download process must appear in the "Look in:" field at the top of the "Browse" dialog box.

Go to the main menu and go to "Settings." Click on "Display/Info" and then "Screen Saver."
