Admission to Farmington is competitive and we receive many applications. After all documents are received, we review each application carefully. This process can sometimes take longer than anyone would like. We try to send out acceptance decisions as soon as possible. TORDIA is "double blind" clinical trial because everyone participating in TORDIA will be taking either citalopram (Celexa), fluoxetine (Prozac), or venlafaxine(Effexor XR), but you, your child, and your family will not know which medication your child is taking. Additionally, neither your child's doctor, interviewer, medication nurse, nor therapist will know which medication your child has been given.

Within two weeks of the Admissions Day a letter will be received stating whether a place has been offered or not.

Significant changes in performance or involvement in academics, sports, extracurriculars or social activities.

Many college students do not know what they truly want to do during college or even as they prepare to graduate. If a student is confused or unsure about his or her interests and potential options, the counselors at Career Services are available to meet with students to discuss their interests. After a career counseling appointment, if the student and counselor agree that it would be helpful, the student can take a career assessment that the counselor will review with the student.

Federal privacy law prohibits us from giving addresses out over the phone or to anyone who is not the resident. Please make sure to right down your student's address. Keep in mind if you know their room number and residence hall name then you know their address.

Upon receipt of the application and transcripts from the student, KOM will forward your documentation to the universities of choice. Allow approximately four weeks for the average response. All correspondence will come to you through KOM Consultants.

Clothing and personal hygiene items are provided for all youth. The detention center provides supplies and clothing for the youth. Detained youth are not permitted to have money. Gifts are discouraged while the detainee is in the detention center. Snacks are provided by the detention center every night. Detained youth are not permitted to have any tobacco products at any time while they are in the detention center.

During the Summer Session, students and faculty dress informally but neatly. Students should be sure to bring appropriate clothing and extra equipment for swimming and other athletic activities, and for inclement weather. Yes. While owning a computer is not mandated at UMF, they are standard operating equipment here. We strongly encourage him or her to consider purchasing a wireless laptop through our laptop buy-in program. These brand-name laptops come with very attractive prices and on-campus maintenance support. And if they don't have a computer, they'll still have full access to our Computer Center, computer labs, and top-of-the-line networked PCs all over campus, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Campers must write home twice a week. To ensure this takes place, they must bring a letter home as a "ticket" into two special all camp events per week. Parents may telephone their son/daughter after the first week of camp. There are three set times each day when in-coming calls to campers are allowed during free-time periods after meals.

Playing time will be based on a number of factors, but the coaches will make the final decisions as to the actual amount of playing time each player will receive. Some of the factors coaches will take into consideration include: Score of the game As a result, not all players will receive the same amount of playing time. If you wish your son/daughter to receive an equal amount of playing time in each game then it would be best that he/she participate in the intramural program.

They need to be at least 16 years of age and have parental consent to do so. Their teeth haven’t completely moved down yet. It’s better to wait until they are at least 16.

The programs apply to workers involved in surface mine operations. The requirement does not apply to clerical and administrative persons not involved in production.

We have a rolling admissions policy; in other words, we review applications throughout the entire year. After we have received all of the necessary information, it takes about 4 weeks to hear back regarding acceptance.

Once your son/daughter registers for their classes they should be able to go to their eStudent account and bring up their class listing. This is where they will find what books are required for their classes. If your son/daughter is having trouble with their eStudent account they will need to contact the IT dept for help.

Students will be mailed their housing assignments and roommate information in August. Typically this information is mailed out two weeks prior to the start of the fall semester.

Assignments are usually made during February provided the complete application has been submitted. Assignment is based on a variety of factors and is done by the International Office. Volunteers submit a list of their country choices. First choices are not guaranteed. Volunteers have a extremely rewarding experiences--even if it is not in their preferred country. Project changes, although rare, would be made in response to a change in current events or a change in an airline schedule.
