If you think your illustration would go well with a topic area or story, then send it in with your suggestion. For example, the story Staying Straight: Plenty of Teens Do Without Drugs and Drinking does not have a photo or illustration.

You will get a email when your order is complete, usually a few hours. If you select to pickup your order at our Rockaway Park store it will take 3-4 business days to transfer the order.

The best way is to write on a post-it note the number you want that photo to display (ie: write "3" for it to be the third picture in your chapter or Scrapbook) and then stick the post-it note on the back of the photo. We do not suggest writing on the back of your photos. You can damage your photo by pressing down too hard when writing on the back or possibly have the ink bleed through to the image side of the photo.

Of course! And, this is a necessity! You want photos of you and your family on your special day. It helps if you put together a list before your big day of the family photos that you want to capture. It also helps if you have someone that knows who all these people are to help round everyone up and make sure that they are there when they need to be. You can budget about 2 to 3 minutes per photo. Hopefully your genealogy program exports links to photos into its GEDCOM. If so, then Version 1 should be able to display thumbnails of these photos, links to the full-size photos, with any information you have in your GEDCOM file about those photos. Later, after version 2 is out, I would like to add some powerful features to help you document your photos properly.

It depends. Your photos can be private or public, or you can choose to keep some of your photos private and some public, if you like. When you open a 23 account your default setting are set to private. The default setting can also be seen on your upload page where your privacy preferences are pre-selected in the upload form.

To send up to 20 photos via email, your pictures should be saved as an attachment in a .jpg file format. The name of your pictures must include a number (1-20), indicating the order in which you want them to appear on your slideshow. (Note: If you do not number your photos, we will place the front exterior photo in position 1. Photos 2-20 will be placed in order at our discretion.).
