A Declaration of Domicile is a sworn statement which states that you reside in and maintain a place of residence in Highlands County. It also states that you intend to maintain this county as your permanent residence.

You will need to bring a valid form of identification such as a driver's license or a Florida issued identification card, your previous address and your present address.

Domicile (residency) means your true, fixed and permanent home - the place to which you plan to return whenever absent. Students who are born and raised in Pennsylvania and attend college in other states do not relinquish their Pennsylvania domiciliary status simply because they are temporarily in another state. Likewise, students who enter Pennsylvania to attend college are not considered Pennsylvania domiciliaries.

Domicile is a complex issue and must be determined on a case by case basis. To qualify as a sponsor, a petitioner who is residing abroad must have a principal residence in the U.S. and intend to maintain that residence for the foreseeable future. Many U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents reside outside the United States on a temporary basis, usually for work or family considerations.

Let's assume an example: the children live with their mother, and the father has certain rights to be with the children. Mother has the right to determine the residence of the children. Father is concerned that Mother will move to Butte, Montana (or Alpine, Texas) and the time, expense, and inconvenience of exercising possession of the children will be so great that he will only be able to see the children during summer possession and Christmas. The courts share this concern.

A:According to the UVA-Wise catalog, all full-time student must delcare their major (or their intent to major in departments whcih have an approval process for the major) by March 1 of the semester in which they will reach 60 hours of course credits.
