The Higher National Diploma creates progression routes to a degree. HND holders are accepted into the second or third year of a related degree course in scores of institutions worldwide.

These qualifications are at a level between A levels and a three year Honours degree. They are great for people who may not want to study for too long (both last for tow years). Both qualifications ask for between one or two AS levels and one A level. Students can transfer onto a three year degree course if they want to, either at the end of the course or mid-way, depending on the university’s policy.

The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing and Business Applications has been developed to enable participants to exploit knowledge of computing, web based development and marketing to further their own aspirations.

It is very important that students choose a course that suits their ambition and interest.

On successful completion, participants will be given a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. This may be considered equivalent to the one-year management programmes offered by INSEAD (France), Indian School of Business (India), Asian Institute of Management (Philippines), University of Pittsburgh (USA), Cranfield (UK), etc.

A student may apply for as many as three degree programmes/majors. However, then the student must submit three fully documented application files (including a signed application form for each). If the International Admissions Services receive only one application and one set of enclosures, the first degree programme/major listed on the application will be the only one that is considered, even if the student had listed two or three degree other programmes/majors.

You may submit admission application for two degree programmes. However, when UniSIM admits you, we will only offer you one of the programmes that you have applied for.

The Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) degree programme is a four-year or 8 semesters programme. It is a full-time programme offered at the IMU Bukit Jalil campus.

A programme fee degree is one that is based on set tuition per term and a residency requirement, rather than individual cost per course. For example, an MA is normally a one year programme fee degree where a full time student would be required to be registered and on-campus for three consecutive terms (1 academic year), and be assessed a set amount of programme fees, or tuition, for each term.

All of the programmes that the Department offers commence at the start of Michaelmas Term, i.e. at the beginning of October. It is not possible to begin one of our degree programmes at any other point in the year.

The programme provides advanced pain education for graduates in medicine, dentistry, psychology, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other relevant disciplines involved in pain management.

By direct application from Junior College. These students will spend the first year in the Faculty of Law; By application during their first year year in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Applicants to the double degree programme must meet the admission requirements of both Faculties.
