Dirge of Cerberus (from here on referred to as DC) is a PlayStation 2 game that takes place three years after Final Fantasy VII (or one year after Advent Children). It is the third part of Square-Enix's multimedia "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII".

Nintendo games haven't been produced for a very long time. So you have only a couple options. Your best chance of finding an NES cart is online, at a website like EBay. There are almost always a couple copies of FF1 for sale on EBay, sometimes for as little as $10. I know someone who bought a copy for $2, even. That's for a used copy, of course.

Square of Japan has not made any current plans to develop a PC port of Final Fantasy IX or X in the near future. Yes, the PC version of Final Fantasy VIII is a direct port of the PlayStation version released in September of 1999. The game's story, characters, items, and Guardian Forces have all remained unchanged.
