Families living outside the local area but within driving distance may go ahead and host, understanding that they will be required to attend at least two gatherings of all hosting families. The tours take place during the spring and summer months, in which the temperatures are comparable to any other region. In the spring, one can expect a range from 50 degrees to high 60's.
