We do not have a version of our software specifically designed for the MAC. However, many of our players successfully play problem free by using a PC emulator. Our understanding is that both SoftWindows and VirtualPC work very well with our software.

The compressed installer should be recognized by Stuffit Expander and should automatically be expanded after downloading. If it is not expanded, you can expand it manually using StuffIt Expander 6.0 or later. We do not currently have a Mac version available. Mac users can access the ScrapbookFlair.com community site. It is our plan to help Mac users in creating scrapbooks in a next generation version of the ScrapbookFlair web site, but in the interim, they can upload scrapbooks created in other programs in the following file formats: JPG, PNG, TIF and BMP. Yes. You can use any Jabber program, and there are lots available, many free. We recommend Pandion for Windows users as it is all set up and ready to go. For other packages, the details you need to know are: port: 5222 with TLS encryption (prefered), or port: 5223 with SSL encryption (if your client doesn't support TLS) For Mac users, you can use iChat, but may prefer Pandion, which is good for Jabber instant messaging but doesn't handle the chatrooms very well.

And all Haxial programs have been written with Carbon from the ground up, so to make a non-Carbon version would mean completely rewriting them, which is not really worth the huge effort, sorry. We do our best to make WebQuest compatible with Apple Macintosh computers. You are probably having a problem caused by the web browser you use. If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer for the Mac, please be aware that this browser will not work with WebQuest. Please do not try to use it, it will not save your answers. That browser is obsolete, as Microsoft stopped upgrading it several years ago. If you have another browser installed on your computer, give it a try.

Reading Apple II 5.25" floppies on a Mac requires the addition of special hardware. One company, Kennect, did make two drives that would handle this trick: the Drive 360 and the Drive 1200. They were primarily meant for reading 5.25" PC disks but were also advertised as having the ability to read Apple II DOS 3.3 and ProDOS floppies. Both required a device called the "Rapport", which plugged into the Mac's external floppy port and also gave the internal 3.

Version 3.7C for ProDos and Version 3.4 for Apple Dos 3.3 were the last versions. A great many of the Apple II customers have traded to DOS or Mac computers. Programming Tools software for the MIDI Solutions products is only available for Windows, however the Programming Tools software can create Standard MIDI Files containing the selected settings, so you can copy or email this file to your Mac from where it can be played into the MIDI Solutions product to program it. To play the Standard MIDI File from your Mac into the MIDI Solutions product, we recommend using Sweet MIDI Player (the free trial version works fine for this purpose).

There are a few wrikles to printing support on the Mac, depending on which version of Mac OS X you're running. It's set up by default for a PostScript printer, and should print to the user's currently selected default printer.
