With newborn twins it's possible to put both babies in one ring sling - there is a video clip showing this on the Maya Wrap website here (no 11 in the list). With older twins people tend to use two slings wearing one twin in each sling with one sling on each shoulder (shown in the same video clip). You can do this with any ring sling or pouch sling. Also parents of twins will often have one twin in a sling and the other in their arms around the house.

Expectant members do not pay dues for 6 months, but get full club benefits including all meetings, socials, newsletter, and member shopping at the sales. Your doula will meet with you about four times before the birth to answer questions, help with a birth plan, provide resources and develop a relationship with you and your partner. Once you go into labour, she will be available by phone until you are ready for her to assist you, either at home or in the hospital. There's a misconception about cats when it comes to babies. Owners assume that the cat will become jealous, when in reality, the cat is just confused and anxious. Since a cat is a territorial creature of habit, the appearance of a strange-looking, odd-smelling creature who emits high-pitched noises, is very scary. The best way to help your cat accept the new baby is to ease him into it. During your pregnancy is the time to get your cat used to the changes that'll be taking place.

This is extremely unlikely but has been done on rare occations. Since China began allowing significant numbers of foreign adoptions in 1993, there have been over 20,000 children adopted to the U.S. from China. The term “birth doula” refers to a supportive companion (other than a friend or loved one) who is professionally trained to provide non-medical labor and delivery support. A doula performs no clinical tasks and is not to be confused with the attending doctor, midwife and/or nursing staff.

You shouldn't be surprised if you feel a little shaky and uncertain for the first day or two after you're discharged. But soon you may get a routine going and gain confidence in your new joint — the start of a new life with less pain.
