ASL is a non-profit school and receives no financial support from governments or religious institutions. Tuition income, charitable gifts and other fundraising make up the yearly operating budget. CASE stands for Conceptually Accurate Signed English. As stated above, with Signed English ASL signs are used in English word order. The "Conceptually Accurate" phrase refers to the use of signs that are conceptually in line with the meaning of the word.
