For 2006-2007, a student's dependency status is determined by questions #48 - #54 in Step 3 of the 2006-2007 FAFSA Form. It does not matter if you live with your parents, if you claimed yourself on your tax returns, or if you pay your own bills. You will be considered a dependent of your parents for 2006-2007 if you answer 'no' to all of the questions below:
