It makes no difference to the pressure reading which wall you hang a barometer on. There may be a slight difference in temperature but not pressure. The pressure is the same inside as well as outside.

In a word, No. Canvas prints are for indoor use only. They must not be exposed to any moisture. For example, it's not a good idea to clean your prints with a damp/wet cloth. Also, avoid touching the surface of the prints with your hands as this may transfer oils, which could affect the appearance of your prints. UV ink is pigmented ink and lightfast, therefore providing extra protection against fading.

Our arrangements are designed for interior use only, however some may be used outside on occasion. We don't recommend that you hang your arrangement outdoors where it may get wet. Please keep in mind that if a wreath or swag is in direct sunlight, some fading will occur.

YES. When you order both a frame and a painting we stretch your painting on stretcher bars. Then we frame the painting and put all the necessary hardware for you to hang your painting on your wall.

It is not recommended that you hang your rug! If you want to use the clips that you saw in your local dealer, you are asking for problems. Local dealers do not hang their rugs for a long time. The clips can cause serious damage called a "bite(hole)" in your pile and/or may shift the warp, especially in heavy rugs of 35lbs or more.

For all types of plaster hangings I use a piece of wire bent into the shape of the Greek letter Omega. As the plaster sets I position the leg portion into the plaster at an angle to create a hanging loop. Larger hangings should have 2 of these. For smaller hangings some folks like to drill a hole in the back to fit over a nail, but I find this does not work as well and increases the chance of cracking the plaster.

Any element that could be attached to block walls can also be installed on M2 walls. To avoid deterioration of the plaster it is not advisable to hammer a cement wall. However, you may drill the wall and use plugs to fix your shelves or any other item (such as television sets, air conditioners, etc.) using screws. Back to top

If you have a slanted or angled wall on which you want to hang framed pictures, consider using our Lock-In Security Hangers to attach the frame flush to the wall. The hanging process can be a little tricky on a slanted wall because you are working against gravity--a second pair of hands is usually needed--but once the frame is properly secured it will be held in place against the wall surface.

Each wall hanging or art quilt I create is made to be hung on the wall and viewed as a painting. A special sleeve is already provided for hanging on a rod (for example a curtain rod) or a 1/4" thick wood slat which has been sealed with varnish, shellac, or acrylic paint. The rod or slat may then be attached to the wall, or can be hung from the ceiling using decorative chain, cording, or monofilament wire. Some wall hangings can be hung using Velcro strips.

A couple of ways are available: You can buy a quilt wooden hanger with dowel, or you can have a rod sleeve sewn in back of your quilt and hang it on an invisible dowel on wall, or simply nail two tiny nails in the corners. Yes, just make sure that drywall screws used on the resilient member side of the wall only penetrate into the resilient member and not all the way into the structural member. The recommended screw length is drywall thickness plus ½".

Easy! All you need is a drill & a masonry bit of the appropriate size. Drill in through the plaster with the drill bit, and then you can put your screw right into the wall. Actually, we've used a cordless drill & have driven screws directly through a finish plaster and into the masonry below without pre-drilling for hanging pictures, and that worked fine.

A6): Many reports of "hanging" on entry have turned out to be reports of poor performance. Money may spend minutes doing whatever it does after entering a transaction. If you have waited a LONG time--this may be five minutes or more depending on your environment--and Money is not doing anything and is not using CPU (this is easy to tell on WinNT, 2000, and on XP) then you have a different problem.
