No, email may not be forwarded to another account. Your instructors rely on being able to reach you via your student email account. Therefore we must maintain the account at Parkland to ensure that it is functioning at all times. We have no control over outside accounts and therefore we can't guarantee the reliability of that account. You may still use other email programs to read your student email, provided that the email program can support the IMAP protocol.

Login to the GOTH.NET web-based email client. Under the Options menu, you will see a submenu called "Personal Information". Under this menu you will see an option called "Forward Emails To". Yes. You can create a 'catch-all' address. That is the account that "catches" all email not addressed to a valid user in your email domain. All of this email will be forwarded automatically to the address or addresses you choose. The catchall account can be in your domain to an external domain.

In the webmail client, click the Options tab then click the Delegated Administrator Link. Login to Delegated Administrator with your JHED login ID and password. You can redirect email sent to your student email address to your home or business email address, or any other email address of your choosing. Redirecting email to a Microsoft Hotmail or other web-based account may experience difficulties in receiving some files due to memory restrictions on those accounts. You can set your forwarding options from within UTS Webmail. Log in to your account and click on the "Options" tab and then select "Settings". You can enter the email address to which you would like your email forwarded in the "Mail Forwarding" section, and press "Save". Any email that is sent to your UTS Email Account will be automatically forwarded to the email address(es) you enter in this section.

You can forward email sent to your campus account to the CSE email server. The campus has a web interface at UC Davis Computing Account Services for forwarding email.

Once you log in with your UNI and password, you will see a list of options for your account. Select the "Mail Forwarding" link under the "Configure Email Settings" heading, and follow the instructions listed. You will have the option to forward all email without keeping any in your Columbia account, or have copies in both accounts. If you choose to keep copies in your Columbia account, make sure you log in to it regularly to move and delete email messages and avoid hitting your account quota.
