If you are a Community of Poets member and depending on how many submissions we have per day, your work should be ready for viewing with in 24 hours. Your submission will not appear automatically after sending it to Shadow Poetry. If you have submitted work with an invalid email address, in all CAPS, or material we feel is inappropriate, we reserve the right not to display your work.

Please note that every submission is reviewed by a human editor and is subject to approval. This process can take any time between several hours to several weeks. That depends upon our backlog. Prior to the official launch, we have just been sending out a few solicitations in order to populate the site. This "seeding" will continue right up until launch. Your early registration not only gets your listing in place sooner but also, may very well affect your ability to get premium positioning at all.

If you submit your site to ChristSites and you do not receive an award (within 10 weeks), don't frown. You can check how often a crawler visits your site, simply by using Google's search box to search for 'www.yoursite.co.nz' and click on the 'Cached' link. It will show you not only when Google last visited but what it saw (ie, what it has in its cache right now).
