The maximum amount of passengers allowed in a yellow taxicab by law is four (4) in a four (4) passenger taxicab or five (5) passengers in a five (5) passenger taxicab, except that an additional passenger must be accepted if such passenger is under the age of seven (7) and is held on the lap of an adult passenger seated in the rear.

It is impossible to pre-calculate a fare, because the meter rate depends on traffic, construction, weather, and route to the destination. It is against the law to refuse a person based on race, disability, or a destination in New York City. A taxicab driver is required to drive a passenger to any destination in the five boroughs. You can make a refusal complaint by calling 3-1-1. Taxicabs are required to welcome service animals.

All “Yellow’ Taxicab Drivers MUST complete a four (4) hour Continuing Education Course by the expiration date of your probationary (first year) license. If you do not complete this course, you will not be issued a renewal license.

Register and attend the Taxi School of your choice and successfully pass the English proficiency and written with a score of 70 or above. IMPORTANT NOTE: All "yellow" taxicab driver applicants must complete the taxi school course before taking the exam. You must take the exam at the same taxi school where you completed the course. We can fly up to 4 adults in your basket (maybe 1 more if some are children). As it warms up towards summer, we can carry 2-3 adults on a hot afternoon. It is actually based more on weight and temperature than on number of people.

Jungle yellow fever is mainly a disease of monkeys. It is spread from infected mosquitoes to monkeys in the tropical rain forest. Jungle yellow fever is rare and occurs mostly in persons who work in tropical rain forests who are bitten by mosquitoes infected by monkeys. Urban yellow fever is a disease of humans and the cause of most yellow fever outbreaks. Aedes aegypti is the type of mosquito that usually carries yellow fever from human to human.

According to the Taxi and Limousine Commission rules, drivers are not allowed to use cellular phones or any communication device, hands free or otherwise, while operating a cab.

Some drivers have established their vehicle as a non-smoking taxicab and the PTC supports this. This is because some are allergic to smoke and could become ill. Some do not want their vehicle to smell of smoke. The driver, by rule, is not permitted to smoke while a passenger is in the vehicle.

It depends on the type of trip you want to take. To give you an indication of the difficulty of our trips we have graded into five categories. Some trips are classified as strenuous and should only be undertaken by those with plenty of experience and an above average level of fitness. However, the vast majority of our tours are well within the capability of any healthy individual leading a normal, active life.

Many people who suffer from eating disorders tend to move from one category of eating disorders (see question 1) to another. Often a person tries to starve herself/himself in an effort to lose weight and becomes obsessed with food. She tries to control her relationship with food by avoiding food and any food-related experiences. However, when food is finally consumed, she quickly loses control of how much she eats, since she is in a state of self-induced starvation.

Capsules 2 feet in diameter and 8 feet long could be used for one person lying down. Capsules could be made big enough to accommodate a bus. Economics will dictate capsule size, and our research shows that the best capsule size has already been proven by the most successful vehicle in the world - the automobile. The average car carries 4-6 passengers, or 800 to 900 pounds of payload. A 51" (1.3m) diameter capsule 16 feet long could accommodate 6 persons.

Reef Odyssey does have one triple cabin with two lower and one upper berth ? all other cabins and staterooms only accommodate two people with the exception of deluxe stateroom 25 where we can supply a foldaway or cot for a child under the age of 14. Please ask us about costs for this.

All our hire tipis are 18 feet in diameter, this size will comfortably sleep 4-6 people with all their gear for a long weekend, you can even sleep 8 if you don't mind being closer together. At other times 10-15 can easily fit around the fire. We can pitch tipis anywhere you have a flattish piece of grass. Our especially designed go anywhere transport means we can fit under even small arches and through any 7 foot gate.

If you are rafting on the South Fork of the American, our boats can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests plus their guide. However, all other rivers require the use of smaller boats that can negotiate the tighter chutes and rapids typical of Class IV & V rafting. The transfer options are priced according to the number of passengers. A saloon sized car is used for 1-2 passengers and a larger car with more room and luggage space is used for 3-4 passengers. If there are more than 4 passengers then we would recommend a minibus/people carrier vehicle which can carry 6 people. Alternatively, you can book more than one car, though the people carrier vehicle option is the cheapest option for 6 people.

We can fit as many people as you would like in one charm, but please note the more people you have the smaller the photo and faces will become.

Our canoes are capable of carrying up to three adults. We also offer sit-on-top kayaks for those wanting to paddle individually.
