International transcripts can be submitted to an evaluation service after you arrive. The form can be obtained from the International Student Office.

To receive credit for coursework from another country, the foreign transcripts must be evaluated by Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A form with instructions is available in the Office of Registration and Records. Refer to the ECE form for appropriate foreign transcript evaluation fees. Remember to complete a Request for Evaluation Form listing ECE as the transfer institution.

To accept transfer work from a junior college or university, the school you are transferring from must hold a regional accreditation at the higher education level. CCRI has Transfer agreements with over 75 schools, nationwide. Transfer planning should begin as early as first semester, freshman year. After you have earned 12 units at Ohlone and have submitted official transcripts from other United States institutions, you may petition for transcript evaluations at Admissions and Records. These credential/licensure courses offered are designed primarily for elective or professional development purposes. A one-day class offers 1/2 semester unit for $20.00. Chaffey College is an accredited college and part of the California Community System. Our college-level classes transfer to the university, allowing students to enter at the junior level if they complete our program for transfer.
