Patients who will not use proper foot wear, many times will have surgery to try to "CURE" the problem. Surgery does NOT cure the problem. Surgery can "repair" clawed toes, remove exostoses (bony growth caused by trauma) on toes, correct hallux valgus (bending of big toe inward), reconstruct Charcot feet, and lengthen the Achilles tendon.

After surgery there is sometimes mild discomfort which can be relieved by Tylenol. You will be asked to use ice cold compresses on the eyelids for the day of surgery and the day after.

On the vast majority of patients we use the most current surgical method of cataract surgery. It is the "Clear cornea - Small incision - No stitch" method. There are no shots to the eye. After mild sedation, eye anesthesia is achieved with eyedrops. An ultrasound probe is introduced through a 1/8-inch, self-sealing puncture. The ultrasound breaks up the cataractous lens and the fragments are aspirated.

Don't use Microsoft PPTP. Again, this attack is against Microsoft PPTP, not PPTP in general. PPTP allows all sorts of encryption and authentication schemes; Microsoft just invented some really lousy ones. Even better, if you are a VPN user, use IPSec. This is a much more robust protocol.
