Soak a Q-tip or an orangewood stick with a cotton tip in a mixture of 10 parts water to 1 part bleach and rub the cotton tip on the stain. You may want to follow up with some hand lotion to counteract the drying effect of the bleach. Here's a trick when dying hair: coat both sides of the exposed nail with a few coats of clear polish and let dry. Then use gloves as usual for the dying, rinsing and the first shampoo.

The idea of leaving nails bare for a few days to let them rest is a common myth. Fingernails are made of dead cells, and they don't need to breathe.

The technical answer is yes, but we do not recommend any further processing of the hair if it has already been dyed and processed. Further, only experienced colorists should attempt to color the hair. Remember that though the hair is 100% human hair, it is just as prone to damage from excessive processing as your own hair. We cannot and will not be responsible for the results.

Trust me…everyone does NOT know how to polish "professionally". Picture-perfect polishing techniques take PRACTICE. By dyeing a darker color, the stains may be less noticeable, but the stained areas will still be darker than the surrounding fabric.

Stains are simply different molecules. If you break apart a molecule you change its nature and it no longer produces color or a stain. Not exactly... the term "dye" causes a lot of confusion, but dye generally means making the hair darker. To make the hair lighter you must use a special bleach. Hair bleaching is permanent and cannot be rinsed away. It can be dyed back to it's original color however, but the bleach does damage to the hair.
