GB of disk space is plenty. And 200 GB/month of data transfer (bandwidth) is plenty. If you find you need more bandwidth later, you can upgrade, but 200 should be just fine.

We provide only 10 MB per account and we do not provide extra space for any account. If you require more than 10 Mb you can register for more than one account and then simply cross link the two websites. Therefore whenever you need more space you can keep adding more accounts.

Quia strives to work well with as little bandwidth as possible. However, for optimal performance, we recommend that you allow 30-80 Kbps (kilobits per second) of bandwidth for each simultaneous Quia user at your site.

You can never have enough! The same advice people give for PC processor speed can be given for bandwidth: buy as much as you can reasonably afford, since nobody ever has "too much" bandwidth. One of the main factors though, is price.

Bandwidth is the key to ensuring that your website is visible to all your visitors. Whenever someone visits your site, data (text, images) flows from our extremely powerful web servers to your visitor's computer. Your bandwidth is the total of all data requested by all your visitors. The larger the files on your website and the more visitors you have, the more bandwidth you need. SiteXpress packages start at 250mb of bandwidth per month.

When you set up a new ticker, select the option that allows us to automatically bill you if you go over the limit. It is only US9.95 per Gb, or, if you've already set the ticker up give our technical department a call and we can alter your payment options. If your site is particularly busy then give us a call and we can discuss a different hosting arrangement.
