History 370: FAQ
We will not go the full time on most days. I usually let you out early, instead of giving a break. I wouldn't mind giving you a break, but invariably students prefer to go straight through and leave early, so I stopped holding votes on the issue a long time ago. If you would like me to hold a vote this quarter, let me know and I will.
Our staff needs a break in order to warm up. Standing out in the cold air all day is quite demanding.
IFA FAQ Fitness Questions
For aerobic exercise, it would be better to do a single workout and give you body the rest it needs to repair. For weight training, two sessions might be better providing different muscle groups are worked during each session. In either case, the question is whether too many workout sessions are being scheduled. The body doesn't build until after the exercise is over, during the rest periods. No rest periods, no rebuilding.

BCI makes every effort to provide the most efficacious service to clients who access the EFAP. Given the short-term nature of EFAP counseling, BCI is very experienced at being "solution-focused". For programs that do not operate on a voucher system (wherein each employee and eligible family members can avail themselves of a set number of counselling hours per program year) most clients complete their counselling within six visits.
of 1.2b2, the TCP idle timeout for the firewall is 2.5 hours instead of the ipfilter default of 10 days (!) to keep the state table from filling up with dead connections. This value can be modified on the advanced setup page, though that is not recommended. So of course if your SSH connection doesn't transfer a single byte for two hours, the ipfilter state table entry is deleted and the connection breaks.

There are a number of ways to catch up. The teacher can forward a copy of the lesson to the parent for completion at home. The teacher can also refer the parent to the web site for the missed lesson.
