The LS finishes are almost bubble free. The same design which makes them flow and penetrate so fluently, acts as a built in de-bubblier. Diligent usage of heat will only cause more bubbles. Sometimes a very mild soft heat can be used after the resin has been mixed for about 20 minutes

The best way is to keep from creating them in the first place. Mix your epoxy slowly but thoroughly. Keep brushing to a minimum or even consider using a hard surface tool such as a spatula for applying your finish. If you still get a few bubbles, you can often remove them with the gentle heat from an alcohol lamp or butane lighter. (ALWAYS USE CAUTION WHEN WORKING WITH ANY OPEN FLAME!) Hold the flame a few inches under the finished wrap and rotate the rod as you move the flame back and forth.

Deco-Coat Doming Resins are known in the industry for their efficient air release. The slow gelling epoxy systems usually release air bubbles on their own. However, to facilitate air bubble removal, a hot air gun or torch can be passed over the surface of all doming systems before the material gels.

To get rid of plumbbobs, create an extra character for your movie set and keep them off screen. Whenever you're ready to shoot, set up the interactions you want with your Sims and right before shooting, click on the extra character to get rid of the plumbob. If you have the Nightlife Expansion Pack, you can get rid of thought and speech bubbles by pressing Ctrl+shift+c to open the cheat box, and entering showheadlines off.

The temperature you pour the gel at will produce the bubbles you want. In other words, if you pour your heated gel at 200 deg. F, you will have lots of bubbles. If you pour your gel at 175 - 185 deg. F. you will have fewer bubbles. This is contrary to what you may have heard and still may depend on how close you are pouring your gel. Pouring slowly at 185 Deg. F from close to the top of your glassware will limit the bubbles. Pouring at 200 Deg.
