No, it does not inevitably or eventually lead to breast cancer. Most fibrocystic conditions are completely benign. There is a very small subset of women with fibrocystic problems who are predisposed to breast cancer. This can be identified by breast biopsy or sometimes by mammography.

I find that my phobia has varied in intensity over the years. There was a time when I was about 16 that I thought I was cured; I hardly ever worried about vomiting and preventing it then. When I was 18, it came back suddenly and with a vengeance. It did not prevent me from doing things I wanted to do that fall starting college, however. My fear gradually eased to the point where I call myself close to being cured.

No! No! No! Nothing could be more destructive to the relationship between an emetophobic and their loved one than that. Some (not most) adult emetophobes say they developed emetophobia because their parents made them vomit at one time or another. There are even adult emetophobes who wound up worse than before when someone tried to "cure" them by infecting them or otherwise making them vomit.
