Quad bikes are designed for off-road use only. They have special low pressure tyres which are not road legal. Most bikes have a fixed back axle, which makes them unsuitable for cornering on hard surfaces. The factory supplied lighting kits do not conform with the Road Traffic Act. You can on certain days. On Saturdays and Sundays they can be used on the auto circuit only. Mondays to Fridays they can be used on our trek routes or on the flat grass area behind our offices. On Adventure Days the minimum age for trekking is 16 years. There are two dedicated flat grass tracks for those younger than 16. For private parties and pre-booked tuition outings youngsters can join the treks, as we have a higher ratio of instructors to riders. The main constraint is the size and strength of the rider. Yes, you can, in most situations. It depends on what damper kit you currently have. Our V.1 damper kits can be swapped from virtually any dirt bike or street bike to another. With the correct hardware, it can be done. The damper unit may be too stiff or even too soft, but that can be easily fixed by one of our GPR Tech service men. Generally, any bike- a road bike, a mountain bike, a hybrid- can be used in a triathlon. In fact, some courses (many turns, lot's of climbs and descents, are slightly better suited for a classic road bike. However, the bike-leg of a triathlon is basically a time trial. Yes, but it must be quiet, in good working order, and have insurance (P.L.and P.D.).
